Stop Unwanted Email Forever!

By John Chan

Spam is a unpleasant fact of life for most computer uses as it adds unnecessary confusion to account with the unwanted email and the wanted email. People are often angry with the pushy ways spammers use to get you, the user to open the spam. Anyone who is a computer user gets junk emails everyday, as millions of spam is sent daily.

It doesn't matter if you don't like getting spam. You will still receive it if you work on the Internet with your computer. People believe that they have to accept this as it is a fact of life for being online.

The spammers have an organized plan for their ads. They know that if just a handful of people click on the links in these emails out of thousands of unsolicited spammy emails , they just got lots of leads to keep them busy awhile. And so the spammers keep doing the same thing all over again, like a proven formula.

If an ad is sent continually to people over a period of time, some computer users are bound to open the spam and click on the link to find out more. People who do the spamming know that it is only a law of averages, and some people will be interested in what they have to say. It's true that the vast majority of computer users are irritated by the spam, but spammers don't care about that.

People with email accounts are curious to find out why the spammer choose them to receive the junk emails. They are sent by programs that are called Spambots that grab email addresses in order to send those unwanted emails. It is only one of a few methods that spammers employ to find addresses of users.

Another way is to find something well known such as Yahoo or AOL. Spammers will set up a program that finds various names of potential user names to send out the spam. It's a guessing game, but once in a while they will hit pay dirt.

If you are ready to sign up for a mailing list on a website, make sure you check out their privacy policy. Be sure that they state that they do not sell, share, or give away your name to others. If you don't see any privacy policy, or comments regarding your privacy, then be wary.

Many companies such as AOL or Yahoo have built in spam filters that block certain words or junk before it even gets to your mailbox. Inevitably some of the offensive or junky emails manage to get through. Just for added security, spend some time on your computer and learn how to block these emails. Refrain from clicking on the links, because you'll only get more spam!
